:)

To answer all your questions.... we haven't been hit by a huge storm. It decreased by the time it got here, so it was normal. I love Abalama! The people are great here too! Everybody loves hunting, and the Auburn, Alabama rivalry is hilarious! I choose Alabama, for a couple reasons. 1) They are the best team, and 2) the bishop is all for roll tide! There is a street in Eufaula that Reese Witherspoon drives down in Sweet Home Alabama. It's the street full of big plantation houses, we do service in one, and I got a tour of it! Alabama is not much different when you get into the sticks. They all love hunting, and all have dogs, and everyone has a gun! We visited a man who had really swollen feet, and didn't move around much, and he had a gun and a huge Bowie knife stuffed in his recliner, it was pretty funny. But not much else. I haven't got my letter, we haven't checked the mail for a couple of days actually....but I just hope Elder T forwards it to us.
Elder Lane is really great. He is funny, and has seen all the same movies I have. I think we'll get along just fine. He in full blooded Navajo from Nevada, people down here call him a Lamanite! He laughs about that. He was glad to get me as a companion, because his previous elder didn't get along too well.... but everyone has those every now and then. He told me the area is really slow, so I'm excited to speed it up! I can now see how much I've learned from the past six months and will use it to help this area. I need to get to know everybody first. I already like it though. Our ward is mainly filled with old people and hicks....our sacrament is funny, there are lots of sleepers. We basically have no kids, so it's super quiet, and when there is a monotone speaker, everyone starts nodding! We have a great bishopric, they work hard. They will definitely make it easier to work.

Man, I can't wait to get to Bear Lake when I get back! It's going to be so nice, y'all should put a putting course on it! Now that'll be fun! It will be very nice to be able to walk to the fire pit and not have thorns stick in your feet. Actually, last Tue. we had trade-offs and I went to Panama City and played beach volleyball at a park away from the beach....it had sand that was filled with weeds. It was super fun though, I was able to take pictures as Elder Furfaro drove around to appointments. I'll send the card when I get the other one! We did run on the beach in the morning, which KILLED my calves. I thought it was great, 'til we had to run back. But before we turned around, we cleaned beer cans off the beach, like good elders!

I have a couple videos, one of Sis Watson and Miles singing Jolene! That one's funny. And one I previously filmed of Elton Byrum having his dog do tricks. His dog is super well trained! He taught it to do tricks according to the number of fingers! He also taught him to make a bear sound, which is hilarious.

The Boys are back! haha, we were at bishop's yesterday and they asked me about y'all. Sis Wade asked how old Ashton was, and that there is a girl named Melissa that she wants him to meet, but I'm not going to say anything more because I know nothing about her, and nothing might happen. But if a random girl comes to the door, it might be her.... :) It was funny because she was asking why he wasn't married! I said, I was wondering the same thing! haha No I didn't , that was a lie... but we were talking about it.
I really didn't need to know about your appointment with the doctor, I'm not really interested in those kind of checkups.... but thanks though! Y'all can deal with that yourselves :)
The work is going great! And all is well, Mucho gracias! Thank Dad for the email, I'll write to him another time, when I have more time. Thank him for the Air Traffic Controlling tip, that would be fun to go in. I'll research it when I get home!
Here is my new address, 924 south, randolph avenue apt 1, Eufaula, Alabama, 36027
LOVE Y'ALL!!

Heyo

That sounds like a show! (Aladdin at Tuacahn Amphitheatre) I think I understand the water, but 48 dollars?? That is expensive! Talking about expensive, I told bro Sewell, who owns the Westerner, that I'm going to save up to buy a pair of Ostrich boots that cost 346 dollars! I was joking of course, but those boots do look pretty nice! It's funny, cause last week I just told a family that my my family wasn't the richest people, and there you go paying for an Aladdin movie! haha, just kidding
(Referring to some girls that are chasing Ashton and Jameson) Well, from what I know, Chad has a pair of younger twin sisters, and they are much younger than Ashton. I'm not familiar with any older sisters, but if who you are talking about is the same one I'm thinking of, then he did right not dating her. :) I wonder how Jameson found her if she's so small! :) I'm pretty sure that she's a legal midget, that is very interesting! How short was Jessica?
Kudos to Coree! (She went to Cub Scout Day Camp two days in a row!) She is awesome, I just wish I spent more time actually getting to know her... Isn't that interesting, I don't really know her that well, except from all the times she's made fun of me! That isn't the best resource to judge righteously from! :) That's awesome that she is involving herself with scouts, she would be a great den leader! :D
That's interesting that it was awkward when Annie and Courtney stopped by, because you were the one who always striked up the conversation betwix us! They are both so fun too, how is Courtney doing in soccer? Is she the all-star on the team yet? I know that her and Abby are great players, even though I know they can't beat me! :) If you see them again, say I said what's up! Also ask Annie about the Giant Texas Steak restaurant that is in her hometown of ARMADILLO! Hopefully she knows what I'm talking about!

Well, all is well down here! Just found out about transfers and now I'm moving to Eufaula, Alabama! It's going to be interesting! My new comp is Elder Lane, and I've heard nothing about him! Hopefully he is as cool as my current comp! It's going to be interesting leaving my hometown of Chipley, but I got a shirt, so all is well! What's going to be sad is that we are having trade-offs tomorrow, so I'll only have today to say bye to everyone! I'm so thankful for the kind people I met down here, and for their influence on me! I just hope they remember my name! haha, it shouldn't be too hard... but I will miss this place! I am excited to start working in this next area, and meet new people. I know it will be interesting, first of all it's called EUFAULA, and it's in Bama, I'll tell you all about it next week! It has been great to see the change that I helped make in people, and how much closer they were brought to the Lord. We had a lesson at a less-active's home yesterday, and when we were leaving, the mother told us how grateful she was that we spent the time to visit and teach them, and how much they were helped. They definitely improved, her son is now going to mutual again and has come to church. I hope that they will continue to go and keep getting better!
It's interesting to think about this chapter of my mission coming to a close, and the new one that's about to start! I have learned a lot and have been improving everyday, but I still have a long way to go. I pray the Lord will help me in my effort to change and become a Celestial missionary as our president states.
Thank you for your encouragement and love y'all show me! I'll send the camera card in a week or so! Love y'all so much!

yerp............

It has been cloudy, and it rained hard twice. I am super blessed to have a previous elder leave his raincoat for me! I can't believe how hard it rains out here, it's like somebody is standing above me pouring a bucket of water on my head! I hear that in Pensacola, a Burger King was flooded out, and the first floor of their hospital had a layer of water. It didn't stop the work! Only slowed it a bit. I am super thankful we have a car! I filmed the thunderstorm, but accidentally deleted it... It's alright, it was way too long anyways. The scariest thunderbolt so far happened a couple months ago. We were at a track meet, and it started to storm, but far away to the west. We thought we were good for an hour or two. We saw the lightning moving closer and then a random lightning bolt flashed behind us to the east! It scared so many people, the track meet stopped as soon as it happened. People took it seriously, we walked into a nearby shed, and waited out the rain/thunderstorm for about an hour. It was exciting, and we got to talk with some people who were also stuck with us.
That's awesome that Coree is starting to go to Sunday School again! I didn't know that Hannah Montana is getting married...or is it Miley Sirus? :) I bet in a few years they both will be married to two different men... haha. I hope that she enjoys the gospel lessons, we had to teach gospel principles for the past two weeks. Does she know all of the doctrine? I know that she grew up in the church, but did she learn it that well? I know that if the teacher is good, and uses the Spirit, not their own wisdom, to teach, then it'll be really beneficial. Yesterday, we had a girl invite two of her friends from Marianna; one was a member, one wasn't. They all barely graduated. She told them that they needed to come to our ward, because it's so much better! I believe her too! :) I laughed when she told me, those two kids were awesome, I enjoyed talking with them.
We have been doing a little shaky these past few weeks. We are planning on doing a lot better this week, I have really learned to use the Spirit while teaching. It is hard to stop thinking of what I'm going to say, and just listen. As I do it though I know that whatever needs to be said, gets said, and the lesson goes a whole lot better! Something funny happened recently. Elder T and I drove out to visit a less-active member who lives quite a ways south of Chipley, and when we were driving through the dirt roads, we came upon a really nice house, and it was the address we were looking for. We went around their driveway and got out. This big white dog, who looked as if he'd been in many fights, was standing in between us and the door. We were talking with each other, trying to convince ourselves that this dog was nice but not getting anywhere. We ended up calling him (the guy they were going to visit, I assume:) and he said to pass the house that we stopped at, so we got right back in the car and headed down. I was pretty sure that that would be the day to get bit by an animal!
That's what's going on here! We actually got kicked off the computers at the library because of a thunderstorm. We found some members that let us use their computer, so that's why I sent this so late. Who's winning in the goatee contest? I noticed that Dad isn't even competing, is it still going on?
It's always good to hear from y'all! I hope I have some good stories for you guys next week. Thank you dad for the help!
Love y'all! Talk to ya later!

Nope, Still Mondays

Just for the past couple of weeks we've been emailing on Tuesdays, the library was closed because of no power yesterday, and last week was Memorial Day. So feel free to keep checking on Mondays!
That's awesome, and weird, that so many people graduated! It seems like they still have a year left! That is awesome to know that they are doing so well, especially Nate and Roie...:) haha. It's awesome to see Jackie stepping up like that! She has definitely grown out of her shy stage. Let me know when they all get their calls! :) That is going to be awesome!
I love the Rix's story, it couldn't be any more true. Fear is the opposite of faith, so if you live by faith, you shouldn't be worried when the moon is angry! :) I just barely read this scripture also, "perfect love casteth out all fear" so we have two tools to use against it, Faith and Love! And of course both are commandments of the Lord, to Love everyone and God, and to have faith in Jesus Christ! No problem right? :) I do need to work on both of those. Tell them they are awesome!
I am running and doing my push ups and sit ups, and I hit a wall with those, I can't do more than 30 push ups! It's bugging me... I hope that when I'm careful not to eat too much and continue to exercise, I will have that muscle! Instead of coming home extra skinny!....;)
About the Howells, nope... But it's alright. I'm sure something will come, sometime......in the future......when I get home.....haha naw, if I do, cool, if I don't I know people still care about me! But I have been having strange dreams lately, I thought at first, maybe they are visions! But after last night's dream, about me being in the army, I thought, naaah. Maybe one day.
Well this week has been a little ruff, we are having trials and it doesn't seem like the area is getting anywhere. But we do have an awesome investigator, he is fifteen and is super excited about learning the gospel. He has a rough background and he doesn't know the gospel too well, even the Bible! He lived with his grandpa for a while, until he died, he then stayed with someone else, who wasn't in the right frame of mind, so they moved him to live with his uncle. He learned much from his uncle, but not much about the gospel. But then his parents wanted him back, and now he lives here. His parents aren't church goers, and they don't seem too great, the way he describes them, but his testimony is growing fast and strong and he is progressing fast. It's interesting because he seems like a role play investigator, but he isn't acting. He is definitely a golden investigator. He has a baptism set for the end of June, and I'm most likely being transferred out in the middle of June! It's horrible, but I know that he will stay strong. He had to give up some friends who were a bad influence, and he is reading the B of M, even in the bus, where kids have made fun of him. He is awesome, and I am super impressed by him!
Other than that, I just need to keep working harder, and the Lord will direct my path!

Love y'all and keep being blessed! :)

PS It is now hurricane season! Good thing some elder left a rain jacket that fits me!! :)
